Women interested in pursuing careers in offshore energy, maritime and marine industries will have an opportunity to explore their options when the She Goes Offshore initiative comes to Georgetown on November 7, 2026.
The event, hosted by Atlas NextWave, is designed to inspire women to consider career opportunities in these sectors, connect with others and learn from shared experiences.
The initiative forms part of a global workforce programme by Atlas NextWave aimed at helping women explore, enter and build careers in offshore energy, maritime and marine industries.
The Georgetown event is expected to bring together women already working in the industry and those considering a career change or looking to enter the sector.
It will provide a platform for conversations about career possibilities, experiences and opportunities within the offshore and energy industries.
Atlas NextWave said the initiative is focused on empowering women, building meaningful connections and opening doors to opportunities in the evolving offshore sector.
Through She Goes Offshore, the organization says it’s seeks to create pathways for women to enter industries where they have traditionally faced barriers, while encouraging greater participation and professional development.
While the event date has been scheduled, the venue and time is still to be announced. Interested persons could check the “She Goes Offshore” Facebook page for the relevant information.
Registration will be required to attend.
